A Real Mummy's Curse

N'q't' here, for the first time since showing myself off. Hope you like the picture because you'll never see my skin again, because I am now...well I don't have a lot of time, so let me just tell you the story...

I was doing a duty exploring some ruins. I hate duties...so long and boring and I always feel like an idiot for not tanking right. But that's not important! Anyway, my team and I got to the boss, a big pharaoh statue thing if memory serves. During this fight, there were mummies running across the arena. If someone gets touched four times, they fall into a trance and run into a sarcophagus to get mummified, then let out, and they act like the other mummies, cursing any teammate they touch, until they get to the other side of the room and go back to normal. The bandages are irremovable on their own. You can only free yourself when the curse lifts by itself.

I got mummified once and cursed my comrades a couple times but there was no lasting damage. Once freed, I tried extra hard to stay away from the mummies, even though I still got cursed again. But the real disaster was about to happen.

It was near the end of the battle and I was right in the middle of the row of mummies. I didn't have time to get out of the way, so the only chance I had was to go between, which…well it’s not possible so I actually got cursed twice. That meant it was a total of 3 curses, and one more would turn me into a mummy again.

I again tried to avoid the last one and moved out of the way, but in my effort to do so, I didn’t see the mummies coming from the other side until it was too late. So I fell into the trance and ran into the sarcophagus to get mummified. I wasn’t upset or frustrated because I knew it doesn’t last long, but the same instant I got mummified, the boss was defeated, causing some kind of…break in reality, I guess? Just think of a glitch but not a game. Whatever it is, it left me permanently mummified…

I'm only communicating right now telepathically inside the ruins. My team deserted me here...it's dark and I don't know how long I've been trapped. I'm scared and soon I'll lose my telepathy, but before I get silenced, please...to whoever this message reaches...save m-.
