"Aqua? Aqua?!" a voice rang out. Aqua opened her eyes and saw a young elfin boy looking at her in concern. He had on a light green, leaf-like shirt and dark green pants. On his feet he wore a pair of brown boots, and he wore a green hat with a red feather on the side on top of his red hair.

"Are you alright?" he asked Aqua. "What happened?"

"I-I'm fine," Aqua told him, standing up slowly. She then looked at something. She was looking at it for a few seconds, so the boy turned to see what it was. A wooden Keyblade was lying on the ground, broken in half. The name "Terra" was sketched into the side.

"Oh, no!" the boy gasped. "Look at Ven's treasure!"

"It's ok, Peter," Aqua told him. "Whatever it is that binds us together isn't gonna break so easily. And that's our real treasure." She walked up to the broken Keyblade and picked up the half with the handle.

"I think Ventus knew that," she said. "That's why he left this behind."

"You must really be close," Peter said, smiling. "And that's something pretty special." Behind him, two other boys even younger than him walked up. One was dressed in a bear costume, while the other was in a fox costume.

"You, and Ventus, and Terra, was it?" Peter said. "One day, you should all come back!" Aqua thought for a minute. Then she looked around.

"Wait, was I the only one here when you came?" she asked.

"Yeah, why?" Peter replied. Aqua looked around again, but seemed more distressed.

"Oh, no," Aqua said. "Venitas! I thought I defeated him! I guess he escaped while I was out!" Peter and the two boys glanced at each other.

"Uh, Venitas?" Peter said. "Hm…maybe you should come back to our hideout and tell us all about it. We live in a tree that's actually a lot roomier than it looks. Come on, I'll show you!"

Suddenly, a little pixie flew around. She wore a green dress and had shoes with bells on them. Her golden hair was tied up in a bun, and she had on some red lipstick. She also had a bright orange glow around her.

"Huh?" Peter said. "What's that, Tink?" The pixie jingled her bells, which was her way of communicating.

"What's she saying?" Aqua asked.

"Oh, well Tinkerbell doesn't really trust you yet," Peter explained. "Or so she claims. But I think she's just jealous." Tinkerbell made a surprised face, then turned around and started pouting.

"Ah, don't mind her," Peter said. "Come on! You can meet the other Lost Boys too!" With that, he took off into the air, with the others following on the ground. He led them deep into the forest. Finally they reached a large tree with no leaves but a few windows.

"Well, here we are!" Peter exclaimed, landing. "The Hangman's Tree." Aqua gazed at it.

"Wow, it does look really small," she said. "Are you sure there's enough room for all of us?" In response, Peter flew up to one of the windows.

"Come on, you'll see!" he said. And he flew inside the tree. The two Lost Boys went in through the lower windows, and Aqua tentatively followed. She poked her head in and looked around. It was very large, and it looked just like a small house. There was a rug on the floor, some furniture (including a bed), and a makeshift curtain that was made from some type of fur and acted as a door to another room.

"Wow," Aqua breathed, entering the tree. "You were right! This place is roomier on the inside!"

"Didn't I tell you?" Peter said. "Now let me introduce you to all of the Lost Boys. Men, ten-hut!" There was some clattering in the next room. Then 4 other boys popped into the room. One wore a rabbit costume, another wore a skunk one, and the last two wore raccoon costumes.

"I would like everybody to meet Aqua," Peter introduced.

"Hi," Aqua said, waving. "It's nice to meet you all." The boys all waved back.

"So, Aqua," Peter said, sitting down on a chair. "You were going to tell us about this… Venitas person, right?"

"Oh, right!" Aqua remembered. "Well, maybe it'll be easier if I just start from the beginning…" She sat down on the bed, while the other boys found their own place to sit. Then Aqua started to tell them everything that happened, starting from when she first became a Keyblade Master.

-

"…and that's why I need to find Venitas as soon as possible," Aqua finished. The boys were silent for a few seconds.

"Wow, sounds like you've been through a lot," Peter finally said, standing up. "Ok, I'll help you search. If I find him, I'll fly right back and let you know. And, I mean, how hard could it be to find a guy in a red-and-black full-body outfit and a black mask? He'll stick out like a sore thumb around here!" With that, Peter flew out the window and went up into the night sky.

"Hey, we want to help, too!" the bear boy said. The other boys agreed.

"No, it's too dangerous," Aqua told them.

"But Peter went!" the fox boy complained.

"Well he left before I could say anything!" Aqua said. "And he is the best at flying, so hopefully he'll be ok." The boys all looked at her with pleading eyes. Aqua sighed.

"Fine, I guess we can all go," she said. The boys cheered and grabbed their toy weapons. Then they immediately ran out the tree. Aqua stood there for a minute. Then she smiled. Those boys had so much energy and were so full of youth…

She walked up to the window and stepped outside. Then she gasped. Captain Hook and the rest of the pirates were there, waiting for them!

"Hey, let us go!" the rabbit boy shouted at the pirate who was holding him.

"Hook!" Aqua cried, glaring at a pirate in a red jacket. He wore a purple hat over his long, black hair, and actually looked more like an Englishman than a pirate. But the most prominent feature about him was the metal hook he had in the place of his left hand.

"Oh, hello, my dear," Hook said, a sinister smirk on his face.

"How did you find this place?" the skunk boy demanded.

"Oh, we met the most helpful boy in a red and black outfit and black mask," Hook's right-hand man, Mr. Smee, told them. "He told us exactly where to look!"

"Venitas…" Aqua mumbled. Hook turned to Smee.

"He also said NOT TO TELL THEM THAT!" he yelled. He stood there for a few seconds, glaring at Smee and breathing hard. Then he sighed.

"Well I guess it doesn't matter now," he said. You're all coming with us on the ship."

"Hey, you can't-mmph!" Aqua tried to protest, but one of the pirates came up behind her, clamped his hand over her mouth, and pulled her arms behind her back. She tried to escape his grip, but couldn't. Then, realizing she had no other choice, she let him guide her to the pirate ship. While she was walking, she noticed Hook and Smee lower some sort of present into the tree. I don't know what that is, Aqua thought. But I know it can't be good!

-

"Well, here we are!" Hook announced. "Skull Rock!"

"Wow, it really does look like a skull!" Aqua said. Or at least tried to. Unfortunately she was bound by ropes all around her arms, wrists, knees, and ankles, and was gagged by a cloth over her mouth and tied behind her head. The Lost Boys were simply tied to one of the ship's masts.

"What do you have planned for Peter?" one of the raccoon boys asked and was echoed by his twin.

"Oh, we gave him a special present," Hook told them mischievously. "A marvelous device of my own creation. Come 6 o'clock, that little brat will be blown to smithereens!" He laughed maniacally while the Lost Boys and Aqua all gasped.

Hook stopped laughing, knelt down in front of Aqua, put his hook around her neck, and lifted her head up with it so she was glaring at him head-on.

"And I have special plans for you," he said. Aqua looked away defiantly. Hook stood up.

"Smee, come with me," he said, picking up an mmph-ing Aqua and putting her in the dinghy.

"Uh, aye-aye, cap'n," Smee replied, running into the dinghy.

"Men, keep an eye on those boys," Hook said, climbing aboard the dinghy. Smee then lowered it into the water, and they started rowing towards Skull Rock.

-

"Nothing personal, my dear," Hook said to Aqua. She was tied to an anchor that was sitting in the water. "But since you are the biggest threat, you must be rid of."

"Mmmph!" she shot up at him.

"Don't give me that," Hook snapped. "When the tide comes in…well I don't think I need to say anything else." He then glanced at his pocket-watch.

"Oh, it's almost time for the fireworks!" he said gleefully. "Let's go Smee-" Suddenly there was a ticking sound.

"Mmph?" Aqua said, looking around. Hooks face turned pale and he started to shake in fear. He slowly turned around and saw a green crocodile crawl out of the water and eye him hungrily.

"S-S-SMEE!!!" he yelled, jumping into Smee's arms. "Save me! Please! Take me back to the ship! Hurry!" Smee ran to back to the dinghy with Hook standing on top of him. They then rowed off as fast as they could. The crocodile jumped back into the water and gave chase. Soon Aqua was all alone.

"Mmmph!" she shouted, trying to escape her bonds. But they were no use. She sat back in the water.

"Oh well, someone will save me I'm sure," she said. Then she paused.

"Wait, is it just me, or is this water…higher?" she wondered. Then her eyes grew wide. The tide was coming in!

"MMMMPH!!!" she screamed, struggling frantically to escape. But she couldn't get loose.
The water was rising higher and higher.

"Somebody, help!" she cried. But she knew no one would hear her because of the gag and the fact that she was so far away. But that didn't stop her from believing in a miracle.

"Mmmph!" Aqua screamed again, desperately hoping someone happened to be nearby and would save her.

Soon the water got so high, she had to tilt her head back to keep her face above the water. But a few seconds later, she went under. She struggled again, but her bonds still held fast.

"Mmph…" she said sadly. It was no use. The ropes would not give way at all. She just wished she could see her friends one more time. And she could've saved Peter from the bomb, too. But it seemed like they were both as good as dead.

Suddenly she heard a muffled voice.

"Aqua!" it exclaimed. Aqua looked up and saw a head with yellow hair looking down at her from above the water.

"Mmph!" she exclaimed happily. It was Ventus! He reached down, grabbed the anchor, and pulled it and Aqua back up. He then quickly untied her and removed her gag.

"Ven, you came back!" Aqua exclaimed, giving him a hug.

"Yeah, I came here to visit Peter Pan, but-" Ventus started.

"Oh, no, Peter!" Aqua suddenly exclaimed. "Ven, did you see him?"

"Uh, yeah, he was at the tree holding that present you left for him," Ventus told her. "That's how I knew you were here. And then I heard you scream and saw the tide go over your head. And then I saved you!" He said that sentence very proudly.

"Yeah, you did," Aqua said gratefully. "But now we need to save Peter!"

"Huh?" Ventus exclaimed. "From what?"

"Listen, I didn't leave that gift," Aqua explained. "Hook did. It's a bomb."

"A bomb?!" Ventus gasped. Aqua nodded.

"It's set to go off at 6 o'clock," she said.

"What?!" Ventus shouted. "But it's-" he looked at his watch "5:45 now!"

"Well then we have no time to lose!" Aqua said. "How'd you get here?"

"Oh, you know," Ventus said. "The usual. Faith, love, and a little pixie dust!" At that, Tinkerbell flew out from behind Ventus and poured some dust all over him and Aqua.

"Come on, let's go!" Ventus said, taking off. Aqua was a little disoriented at first, but quickly got the hang of it. And together they flew as fast as they could to the Hangman's Tree.

-

"…10…9…8…" Peter counted. He was sitting in the tree, waiting for the clock to strike 6. But he lost his patience.

"Well I'm sure she wouldn't mind if I open it just a few seconds early," he told himself, removing the wrapping. Suddenly Aqua and Ventus burst into the tree.

"Don't open that!" Aqua exclaimed. Ventus ran up to Peter, grabbed the gift, and threw it out the window.

"Hey, what gives?" Peter said. Suddenly there was a deafening explosion outside.

"That wasn't from me, and it wasn't a gift," Aqua explained. "It was from Hook, and it was a bomb." She quickly explained what happened after he left to search for Venitas.

"Wow, you really have been through a lot!" he exclaimed. He then stood up and headed towards the window.

"Well, come on!" he said. "We gotta go rescue the Lost Boys! Boy, won't Hook be surprised to see us alive and well!" He laughed as he flew out the window.

"Yeah, let's go Aqua!" Ventus said, flying out after Peter. Aqua smiled. Just today, she had fought Venitas, got captured and almost drowned, then saved by Ventus, and was able to save Peter from being blown up. As Peter said, she really has been through a lot.

And she wouldn't have it any other way.
Here's another request by :iconraybraver2:. The first part was actually straight from Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep, at the end of Aqua's Neverland part. I just thought it made a good beginning ^^;. Also, I had to do a lot of research for this one. I watched the whole Peter Pan movie to make sure I got this right! But I think it turned out pretty well. Hopefully you will too. Enjoy :D
